ARE YOU AWARE OF BALANCE?
Well, we all have those friends or even sometimes it is ourselves who say those words of punish "I ate too much or I drank too much, etc."
I figure lets stop punishing ourselves and lets talk about balancing our needs and wants!!

We are all familiar with the Chinese symbol of the Ying and Yang. So what does this have to do with Yoga, we ask ourselves?
Just as there is the white, there is the black! A Ying, a Yang, an even alignment of two sides, a symbol of balance!
Now with the combination of Yoga lets talk a little about this balance in our bodies, minds and lives. What is it within us which may need balancing? -
Male and Female Energies
-
Right and Left evenness in the body
-
Acid and Alkaline levels
-
Positive and Negative Emotion
-
Good and Bad days
Most of us are living a YANG life. A Yang life could include....
Fast paced lives with demanding jobs, fatty heavy foods, too much TV/media visuals, Internet information, Phones ringing, Cars tooting...etc etc
Now this subject is very BIG and I could talk all day...but lets just 'plant a seed of thought' of balancing this Ying and Yang within us. Maybe could I suggest?...
• A busy day-a quiet dinner
• A hard workout- a slow yoga stretch session with deep breaths and meditation
• A piece of meat-a side salad (alkaline and acid balance)
• A fast paced week-A relaxed Sunday to mentally reflect and absorb our loved ones
So make a start to balance!......awareness of ourselves and our actions... is a wonderful thing! :) Hope this helps! :)
